GEO by industry: in every field, AI cites different sources
We work in four fields: medical and dental clinics, hospitality and professional equipment, fitness and wellness, and local services in Iași and Romania's Moldova region. We specialize because AI assistants put their answers together differently from one field to the next: they cite different sources and rely on different trust signals.

Why specializing by industry matters
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), meaning optimization for AI assistants, is about becoming the source that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI-generated summaries (AI Overviews) cite in their answers. The catch is that the sources models prefer vary a lot from one field to another.
Medical: directories and reviews
For questions about clinics and procedures, answers draw on medical directories, patient reviews, doctor profiles and pages that explain the procedure clearly. What you choose not to say matters too: communication has to stay factual.
B2B: data sheets and comparisons
When someone is choosing professional equipment, the model looks for specifications, comparisons between models, servicing and financing terms. A catalog with photos and a "request a quote" button gives it nothing to cite.
Local: listings and signals from the city
For questions like "which company in Iași…", what counts is Google Business Profile, maps, local directories and reviews. If your name, address and phone number differ from one source to another, the model doesn't trust you enough to recommend you.
A generic audit misses these differences. That's why we start every GEO audit from the real questions in your field and the sources models already cite there. If you want to understand how it works, we explain it in detail in our GEO guide.
Four fields, backed by real projects
These are the fields where we have already worked for clients: websites, analytics, campaigns, B2B sales.
What stays the same in every field
The sources differ, the method doesn't. In every industry we work on the same three levers and measure them the same way.
- Business identity and structured data. The model needs to know clearly who you are, what you do and where you operate. We use the schema.org types that fit your field: clinic, gym, restaurant, local business.
- Content that's easy to cite. Pages that answer directly, with prices or price ranges where you choose to publish them, timeframes and real FAQs.
- Measurement. Every month, using a fixed set of questions from your field, we track your citation rate (the percentage of AI answers that mention you) and your AI presence rate (how many of the questions you appear in).
The steps are the same everywhere: audit, strategy, execution, measurement. You can see how each metric is calculated on our methodology page, and the monthly report is included in monthly GEO monitoring.

Why does industry matter for GEO?
Because AI models don't treat every question the same way. For a medical question they rely on directories and reviews. For professional equipment they look for data sheets and comparisons, and for a local service, listings and maps. A good GEO strategy starts from the sources models already cite in your field.
How do I find out which sources AI cites in my field?
The simplest way is a free GEO audit, with results within 48 hours. We test 10 real questions from your field in AI models and show you whether you are cited, who is cited instead of you and what to do first. You can request it on the free audit page.
Do you only work with businesses in Iași?
No. We are based in Iași and know the market in Romania's Moldova region well, but we work online with businesses all over Romania. For local services, being in the city helps us understand how people here search.
